The love and affection for our “friend” sometimes are not good advisers for its diet. Generally it’s better its food to circumscribe to a good quality dry food (croquettes). And I am telling you this, me that most of the times I cannot resist my dog’s eyes and I succumb. Nevertheless, there are some specific foods that we should never give them because they cause many problems to their vital organs.

Generally you should avoid foods with lots of fats, spicy or fried foods and also cold or hot foods are strictly prohibited, because they can cause serious stomach upset.
So if you insist to share your food with your faithful friend, you should prefer carbs (rice), egg (not raw), oil (preferably sunflower, oilseed, corn oil), legumes (lentils, chickpeas), fruits (apples, strawberries, watermelon without pits, banana), and vegetables (carrot, leek, green beans, lettuce, spinach, broccoli).
